Dogs For Adoption

Adoption information

Please take a moment to review the basic requirements outlined below for adoption consideration. These serve as the initial criteria and may become more detailed as the adoption process progresses. We reserve the right to deny any adoption application at our discretion and for any reason, in the best interest of the animal.

At Dora’s Dawgs & Katz, our mission is to match each animal with the best possible home, ensuring they find not just a place to live, but a safe, loving, and permanent family. We are committed to the well-being of every dog and cat in our care and will stop at nothing to ensure they are placed in an environment where they will thrive.

If you’re interested in adopting, we require all prospective adopters to complete an adoption application, which can be found underneath this statement To be considered, you must be at least 21 years old, prepared to invest the time and financial commitment needed to provide proper pet care (with an estimated minimum annual cost of $1,200), and willing to pay the required adoption fee, which may vary depending on the animal.

All money collected from adoption fees go back into the rescue to help care and adopt out more animals!
